Modern designed homes and products can often appear cold, usually depicted as devoid of children and any signs of meaningful family or personal life. We helped ModernTots position themselves as an early mover in the retail space for the modern home with children with brand positioning that enable modern design to be personal.
We began with an e-commerce site featuring curated modern designed products from a wide range of manufacturers and craft producers. The site launched first and got a lot attention, and quickly added a periodic 64 page catalog featuring all original photography. Soon after that we helped design and open a retail showroom in the D.U.M.B.O neighborhood of Brooklyn.
During our relationship ModernTots (until it was sold) we managed all aspects of the identity, web presence, advertising, catalog, retail design, and photography.
